  25.             MIRLYN is a computer based catalog that contains 1.5 million
  26.             records  for  the  holdings  of  the  University of Michigan
  27.             Libraries. The entire collection will be represented in MIR-
  28.             LYN  by the middle of 1990. MIRLYN also contains the follow-
  29.             ing periodical indexes:  Social  Science  Index,  Humanities
  30.             Index,  General  Science Index, Applied Science & Technology
  31.             Index, Art Index, Business Periodicals Index, PSYCHINFO, and
  32.             PAIS.

  36.             Telnet to host cts.merit.edu (35.1.1.6).  This  system  pro-
  37.             vides  access  to UMNet, the University's wide area network.
  38.             Users will receive the prompt  WHICH  HOST  and  you  should
  39.             reply  MIRLYN.  Your terminal or communications package must
  40.             be set to emulate VT100.
